Setareh Ebrahimi is an Iranian-British multi-disciplinary artist and performer. She released her first pamphlet of poetry, In My Arms, from Bad Betty Press in 2018 and her full-length collection, Galloping Horses, from Wordsmithery in 2020. She regularly performs her poetry in Kent and London, has hosted her own poetry evenings and leads writing workshops. Setareh was an editor at Whisky & Beards Press, a reviewer at Confluence magazine and a writer and editor at Thanet Writers. Setareh has been nominated for The Pushcart Prize.
Setareh has been published numerous times in journals and magazines, including Proletarian Poetry, Ink Sweat and Tears, The Menteur and The Margate Bookie Zines. As well as writing poetry, Setareh also writes short stories, articles, reviews and comedy shows, which she performs. She also practices photography and creates art. In 2021 Setareh started her podcast, Etcetera, available on YouTube, to have fun and laid-back discussions with other poets and creatives.
